Tractor and Machinery - ROPS

Whereas the phrase “if installed,” in ASAE Standard 318.7 leaves the necessity of the installation of ROPS very vague;

Whereas statistics clearly show the need for ROPS;

Be it therefore resolved...

...that the National Institute for Farm Safety, Inc., endorses the deletion of the words “if installed” from ASAE Standard 318.7;

And, be it further resolved...

...that the secretary be instructed to transmit this endorsement to ASAE T-2 and PM-03 Committees at the Tennessee meeting.
