Be it therefore resolved...

...that the National Institute for Farm Safety, Inc., strongly urge that every manufacturer of SMV emblems recognize his moral obligation to use only high quality reflective and fluorescent color film in the fabrication of SMV emblems and SMV emblem decals;

And, be it further resolved...

...that NIFS urge immediate updating of the ASAE Emblem Standards;

And, be it further resolved...

...that NIFS request, by letter, manufacturers of reflective and fluorescent tape or color film to submit a statement to NIFS from a competent independent testing laboratory that their products meet or exceed ASAE Standards;

Futhermore we urge that all manufacturers of the emblem place their name on the back of said emblem together with an indication that the product meets or exceeds ASAE Standards.
