No Rider Decals

Whereas injuries caused by falls of extra riders from tractors remain a serious problem;

Whereas there is no warning on tractors regarding passengers;

Be it therefore resolved...

...that the National Institute for Farm Safety, Inc., reaffirm our approval and endorsement of the “NO RIDER” concept;

And, be it further resolved...

...that the National Institute for Farm Safety, Inc., recommends that FIEI urgently request its tractor manufacturer members to apply reflective “NO RIDERS” decals in appropriate locations on each side of all new tractors on existing tractors.

It is also recommended that 4-H, FFA, and other farm groups be urged to promote the use of the reflective “NO RIDERS” decals on existing tractors.
