Whereas the farm tractor operator frequently feels that it is necessary to use a helper in completing the hitching of equipment to the tractor;

Whereas this helper is vulnerable to injury;

Be it therefore resolved...

...that the National Institute for Farm Safety, Inc., recommends that tractor and implement manufacturers continue to improve hitching systems so as to eliminate the need for an assistant in completing machinery hook-up.
